Fascinating natural phenomena on the one hand, the place of residence of primitive people, and the temple of ancient religions on the other. The journey will reveal the secrets of Baku and the Absheron Peninsula.

The State Historical and Artistic Reserve is one of the three places in Azerbaijan that is protected by UNESCO (2007). Here we will walk through the caves, see the rock paintings, see the ancient cuisine, and plunge into the life of primitive people.

There are about 800 mud volcanoes all over the world. 354 are located in the territory of Azerbaijan, which is about 40%. The mud is very useful for skin, joints, and bones. We will also visit two museums: one featuring a Natural History exhibition and the other showcasing a collection of minerals. Both museums offer a variety of fascinating interactive demonstrations.

Mosque Bibi-Heybat is one of the most gorgeous temples you have ever been to! Here is the tomb of relatives of Prophet Muhammad (s.v.s).

And now let’s see what was worshiped in Absheron before Islam. Our ancestors many centuries ago considered fire to be holy. The religion of fire worship was so sacredly revered that the religious holiday Novruz turned into a national one and, having survived through the centuries, is still celebrated. Temple of Fire Ateshgah is the place of confluence of three religions, Fire-worship, Zoroastrianism, and Hinduism. On our tour, you will understand what these three teachings have in common.

A castle keeping its original strength and standing in its gorgeous pride from Medieval Times.

Next, let’s go to the origins of this religion. Eternal Lights were mentioned in the annals of Atilla – the Great Hun Emperor, Marco Polo, and many others. Scientists date the age of the “holy hearth” to 4-5 thousand years.
