This three-week course takes beginner binders on a journey through soft cover bookmaking practices. Techniques are all accessible to do at home, and hopefully inspire students to continue a journey into the magic that is making books!
The first day will introduce students to tools and materials and a playful exploration of pamplets 1, 2 and 3. The second session will explore stab-bindings and french sewing structure. The final class will bring us into long-stitch binding. Students will make a minimum of 6 books throughout this class.

No experience necessary for this course, and all materials included. Any spare time in class will be used for practicing technqiues learned – practice makes perfect in bookbinding!
