Le songwriter canadien défendra sur scène l’album Guitar , petit bijou folk minimaliste disponible depuis le 22 août 2025. Retrouvez Mac DeMarco en concert au Krakatoa à Mérignac (Bordeaux) le 11 septembre ! Guitar a été entièrement écrit et enregistré en novembre 2024 dans la maison de Mac à Los Angeles. À l’exception du mastering réalisé par David Ives, Mac a lui-même pris en charge tous les aspects du disque : de l’enregistrement au mixage (effectué au Canada), en passant par les clips et la pochette, tournés en autonomie à l’aide de trépieds. Il confie : « Je pense que Guitar est la représentation la plus fidèle que j’aie pu faire de l’endroit où j’en suis dans ma vie aujourd’hui. Je suis heureux de partager cette musique et impatient de jouer ces chansons partout où je le pourrai. »
