Alvin Nathaniel Joiner, known professionally as Xzibit, is an American rapper, actor, and former host of the reality show Pimp My Ride. Following his debut album in 1996, he gained commercial success through collaborations with Dr. Dre on projects like Restless and Man vs. Machine. Xzibit also has an acting career, appearing in the series Empire and films such as Gridiron Gang. He is releasing his first album in 12 years, Kingmaker, on May 16 via Greenback Records. The album features artists including Ice Cube and Busta Rhymes, showcasing a more mature writing style. Kingmaker aims to share lessons from his career and provide a platform for new artists. Recent singles include “Play This At My Funeral” and “Leave Me Alone.”
