Tito Nieves, born Humberto Nieves on June 4, 1958, in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico, is known as the “Pavarotti of Salsa” for his clear and powerful voice. Moving to New York City as a child, he grew up in a family of musicians & began his professional career in 1975 with Orquesta Cimarrón. He later worked with Héctor Lavoe, debuted with Johnny Ortiz’s Taibori in 1978, and co-founded Conjunto Clásico, recording eight albums with the group before launching his solo career. His solo debut Classic (1988) went gold, followed by Yo Quiero Cantar (1989), which also went gold and featured the groundbreaking English-language salsa hit “I’ll Always Love You.” His 1990 album Déjame Vivir achieved platinum status, and I Like It Like That (1997), an all-English salsa album, brought mainstream exposure, including a performance with Stevie Wonder at the Alma Awards. Tito’s later albums, including Dale Cara a la Vida (1998) and Clase Aparte (1999), showcase his blend of salsa, pop, and R&B influences.

Our facility is ADA compliant as required by the laws set forth by the powers that be. Level 1 is the area that a person with disabilities will be accommodated with complete access throughout level 1 which has the same aspects as the rest of the facility. It allows access to the restroom with handicap stalls as well as access to the bar / food areas and has easy access to the dance floor which has ramps and complete exiting capabilities. Disabled smokers can be accommodated at the exit door. There are tables available and on hold for disabled patrons if they are wanting to purchase a seat. Those tables are tables 26-30 on the left. If it is a general admission ticket they are looking for there is not a special reserved general admission area. Everyone is first come, first serve. Sometimes we have general admission only events which also are first come, first serve. The back of the dance floor is a fine place to view a concert for everyone, I believe it to the best place in the house.
