Moms and Minis: A Coffee Break at Pupuseria El Comalito – Silver Spring, MD

This is for moms who have kids 5 years old and under. If you have older kids, they are also welcome! It is a reserved time for moms to connect with other moms and have their littles meet other littles. For the babies, there will be play mats, puzzles and baby safe painting.

A Little Background

This group was born out of a desire to connect and encourage moms with kids under the age 5 or of multiples by original organizers, Connie (mom of 5) and Melanie (mom of 3)

One of the ways they have been building connection is by offering the option to have other moms host smaller play dates throughout the month.

This event is hosted by one of the moms of the group, Dani Lopez, mom of 1 and owner of la tasita coffee cart. As the owner of la tasita, and host, I will offer the moms a complimentary off-menu spring drink and a kids cup!

The kids cup is an off-menu item that we always offer for free: whipped cream in a cup with caramel drizzle and strawberry slice
