Spines & Stories: Journaling Workshop with Meg Runyan Studios at About Time Bookstore – Libertyville, IL
You’ve read the articles and blog posts about how good journaling is for your mental health, but you’re still not sure it’s for you, if it will really work or if you’re even doing it right.
Join us at About Time Bookstore for a guided journaling workshop where Meg Runyan will lead you through 3 different styles of journaling. You’ll get to experience each style for yourself in real time. (And don’t worry, Meg won’t ask anyone to share what they’ve written.) This is NOT a writing class. It’s a space to explore and try something new.
Bring your own pad of paper, notebook, loose printer paper, or journal- whatever you got will work! Bring your favorite pen or the one floating around your purse. No need for perfection here.
Why journal? Because it can reduce stress, improve your mood, and help you overcome challenges.
Or as one friend recently shared, “My energy changed. My confidence changed. My clarity came back. And because I changed internally… my circumstances began to change too.”
What’s Included:
- Journaling Workshop led by Meg Runyan Studios
- Creative and Journaling book recommendations
- Special take away from About Time Bookstore
- Good company in a cozy, bookish atmosphere
Limited spots available – RSVP early to reserve your space!
