Mending Forward: A Widow’s Creative Gathering
Arranged with Care — A Spring Flower Gathering
About This Gathering
Mending Forward is a welcoming, in‑person creative gathering for widows, hosted by Roots & Wings.
In April, we will gather around the practice of flower arranging, using seasonal blooms as a way to reflect on care, beauty, and the quiet work of tending what is still growing in us. Together, we’ll share tea, conversation, and a guided creative experience designed to foster connection and presence.
This gathering is not about fixing grief or moving on.
It is about making space—for creativity, for community, and for gentle forward movement at your own pace.
What to Expect
- A warm, thoughtfully prepared space
- A brief reflection connecting flowers, care, and resilience
- Guided flower‑arranging time
- Tea and light refreshments
- Unhurried conversation and shared presence with other widows
No creative experience is needed. All materials and flowers are provided, and you’ll take your arrangement home with you.
Who This Is For
This gathering is for widows of all ages and stages—whether your loss is recent or many years past. If you’re longing for connection and a place where your story is honored, you are welcome here.
A Gentle Note
We understand that stepping into something new can feel hard. You are never required to share. Creating quietly, listening, or simply being present is more than enough.
You belong here.
