Spring has sprung, which means it’s time for a Rocky Mountain Golden Bears hike!
Date: April 25, 9:00 AM
Location: Meyers Homestead Trailhead, 6.2 miles past Chautauqua (Boulder) on Flagstaff Rd.
Details: We will do a 5.2-mile out-and-back with 840 ft of elevation gain. This hike is family and dog friendly. We will be led by CU Forest Ecologist Emeritus Tom Veblen (BS ’69, Ph.D. ’75) and Board Member Peter Beck (’89 Asian Studies). We can have a picnic lunch there, eat at Chautauqua, or try Mountain Sun (Pearl St.).
