Our Road On How We Got Here!
LocalTixs.co started with a simple idea. People should not have to search all over the internet just to find out what is happening in their city.
This story goes back to 2012.
At that time, big event weekends like NBA All-Star Weekend were packed with parties, concerts, and celebrity events. There were hundreds of things going on, but no single place where you could find all of them. If you did not know the right people or follow the right pages, you missed out.
Austin grew up in Oklahoma City. Back then, there was not much going on compared to bigger cities like Dallas, Houston, or Atlanta. When my family got a computer during my early childhood years, I became interested in the internet and how websites worked. I was not a programmer, but I learned how to build websites using simple tools.
I noticed that cities like Dallas had websites that listed parties and events for the weekend. Those sites became the go-to place for people who wanted to know what was happening. That gave me an idea, but I knew a site like that would not work in Oklahoma City because there were not enough events.
So I thought bigger.
In 2012, NBA All-Star Weekend was in Orlando, Florida. I decided to build a website just for that one weekend. The site listed every party and event happening from Wednesday through Sunday. People could click by day and see exactly what was going on.
The website spread fast.
Promoters, party hosts, and event planners started reaching out, asking how they could get their events listed. People used the site to plan their entire weekend. Without meaning to, I had created something people actually needed.
That moment changed everything.
Growing Into Something Bigger
After that first year, I kept building similar websites for NBA All-Star Weekend in other cities. Each year, I learned more about traffic, search engines, which lead me to learning SEO, and how people searched for events online.
Eventually, it became clear that creating a new website for every major weekend was not the best long-term plan. I wanted one place where everything could live together.
That is when PartyFixx.co was created.
PartyFixx brought all major event weekends under one site. It covered New Year’s Eve, Super Bowl Weekend, NBA All-Star Weekend, Mardi Gras, music festivals, race weekends, and more. For years, it helped people find events across the country during the biggest weekends of the year.
Then in 2020, everything stopped.
Live events shut down, travel slowed, and the entire event industry went quiet due to the Global spread of Covid19. When events slowly started coming back, the landscape had changed. Search traffic changed. Technology changed. The way people found information changed.
That forced another reset.
Why LocalTixs.co Was Created
By 2025, it was clear that the future was not just about big weekends. People needed a way to find events all year long, not just during holidays or major event weekend.
That is when LocalTixs.co was born.
LocalTixs was built from scratch using everything learned over more than a decade in the event marketing space. Instead of focusing only on major weekends, LocalTixs focuses on cities themselves.
Today, LocalTixs lists events, concerts, and parties in over 260 cities and destinations around the world. This includes major cities across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Australia, the Middle East, Spain, UAE, and South Africa.
Whether you are at home or traveling, LocalTixs helps you see what is happening around you.
More Than Just Events
LocalTixs is not just about parties and concerts.
The platform now includes tours and experiences you can book while traveling. The goal is to help people plan their time in a city without jumping between multiple websites.
In the future, LocalTixs will also include restaurant and food guides, nightlife spots, and other local recommendations. The idea is simple. One site where you can find what to do, where to go, and how to enjoy the city.
Our Goal
LocalTixs is built for people who do not want to miss out.
It is for locals who want to stay in the loop.
It is for travelers who want real experiences, not just tourist stops.
It is for anyone who wants to know what is happening right now.
LocalTixs is still growing, but the mission stays the same. Make it easy to discover events and experiences, no matter where you are.
