In the coldest winter months, Amsterdam is transformed by more than 25 art installations of light. As a proud official partner of the Amsterdam Light Festival, we will tell you all about these works, providing you with amazing views from the water.
Skip the ticket office and go directly to Damrak – Pier 4, a 2-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. Fight the cold with a complimentary hot chocolate or glühwein from our stall on the pier by showing your GetYourGuide voucher and then climb aboard our heated boat and let the winter darkness be illuminated by these fantastic works of art.
From your comfortable seat, you can enjoy a front-row view of the city as it’s beautifully lit for the night.
Enjoy panoramic views from the glass-roof barge, passing by illuminated merchant houses, and under the romantic bridges of the Amstel River. See some of the city’s cultural institutions glittering against the night sky.
Hear interesting facts about the innovative light sculptures you pass with the help of an audio guide. End your adventure back at the starting point.
