Start at a traditional ranch in Macao, a real Dominican community away from the resort areas. After check-in and a short safety orientation, enjoy tastings of chocolate, coffee, tea, and mamajuana, then choose your ride.
Buggy is easy to drive and offers muddy fun, ATV provides a more technical ride with less splash, Kayo is the premium option with more power and comfort.
Bring a bandana and sunglasses, trails can be dusty or muddy depending on weather.
Ride through countryside off-road trails to a natural cenote in El Salado, take a short dip to cool off and grab quick photos.
Independent local vendors may be present, simply say no, thank you if you are not interested.
Continue to Macao Beach, relax, rinse off, and take photos, waves can be strong so swim with care.
Return to the ranch to view and purchase tour photos and browse local souvenirs, optional.
