Begin your journey with a visit to the famous Pink Lake (Masazir), one of the most unique lakes in Azerbaijan, renowned for its unusual hue. There are only eight pink lakes in the world, and one of them is right here in Azerbaijan.

Note: During the winter period (from December 1 to March 31), visits to the Pink Lake Masazyr are temporarily suspended, as due to natural conditions the lake loses its characteristic pink shade.

Next, travel north to the beautiful landscapes of Khizi mountains. This location is famous worldwide for its unique characteristics – mineral-rich rock layers create colorful paintings on the very slopes of the mountains. Walk through the rocky paths to take photos of these vibrant mountains as your guide shares insights about this unique place.

Continue to Besh Barmaq, a sacred mountain known for its unique shape and local legends. Stretched out as a palm of a giant, it holds immense effect on the folklore of locals, carrying a variety of legends and stories about its history. Many believe the mountain has spiritual significance, and it’s common to see locals visiting for blessings.

From there, head straight to the city of Quba, famous for its lush greenery and mountain views. Settle down to have lunch at a local restaurant to try traditional Azerbaijani dishes such as soup of your choice (dushbere or chicken soup), choban salad, and tskan, a national dish of the Lezgis. This dish takes the form of a meat and vegetable pie, its filling perfectly crafted to accommodate the taste of the baked cover. The fulfilling dish will be provided along with tea and drinks.

After lunch, visit Gechresh Forest, also known as Qechresh, a serene woodland located approximately 12 kilometers from Quba in northeastern Azerbaijan. Renowned for its dense canopy of beech and pine trees, the forest offers a peaceful environment ideal for relaxation and nature walks.

Before reaching Shahdag, the journey takes guests to the breathtaking Laza Waterfall, one of the most picturesque natural wonders of the region. Hidden among dramatic cliffs and lush mountain scenery, the waterfall cascades powerfully down the rocks, creating a refreshing mist and a soothing natural melody.
