Want to experience the magic of a night in the mountains but feel uneasy about going alone?
Join our experienced guides and let them handle everything for you – from navigation to setting up your cozy observation base. You’ll be able to fully immerse yourself in the adventure without any worries.
Step into the enchanting wilderness of the Canadian Rockies for an unforgettable 2.5-3.5 hour Classic Night Adventure OR 4.5-5.5 hour Moraine Lake Night Adventure with possible stargazing and aurora chasing! After a convenient pickup from your hotel, you’ll be whisked away to explore hidden locations in the mountains, far from the distractions of the modern world. As you journey under the night sky, feel the thrill of the unknown, surrounded by nature’s raw beauty.
Once we reach the perfect spot, our team will set up a comfortable base just for you. Relax in comfy chairs or inflatable loungers, equipped with headlamps to light your way. Sip on hot chocolate or tea and wrap yourself in blankets as you soak in the peaceful atmosphere of a mountain night—where every rustle of the trees and breath of the wind adds to the magic.
If the skies are clear, we’ll provide a telescope for a closer look at celestial wonders like stars, planets, and other night sky objects. And if fortune smiles upon us, the elusive Northern Lights might even make an appearance! Whether the sky is clear, partly cloudy, mostly cloudy, or even cloudy with light snow, a night in the mountains promises to be an awe-inspiring experience.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A HIKING TOUR — some walking is involved on both tours. The Moraine Lake Night Adventure also includes stairs, so we recommend wearing comfortable footwear.
AND YES! THE BEAUTIFUL PICTURES OF THE NORTHERN LIGHTS ARE FROM OUR TOURS, TAKEN BY OUR PARTNER – A PROFESSIONAL ASTROPHOTOGRAPHER.
IMPORTANT NOTE: These tours run under a range of weather conditions – clear skies, partly cloudy, some clouds, mainly cloudy, cloudy, light snow (a very magical time in the mountains at night). If it rains or snows heavily, we offer the option to reschedule or a full refund.
End your adventure with an easy return to your accommodation, carrying with you the wonder of having spent a magical night in the mountains.
Please note, we need a minimum of five guests (they don’t have to be from the same group or family) to run the trip. If we don’t reach that number, we’ll gladly offer you an alternative date, a different service, or a refund.
Please note, stars and Aurora Borealis sightings are not guaranteed.
Our Classic Night Adventure lasts 2.5–3.5 hours, depending on your starting point. The Moraine Lake Night Adventure lasts 4.5–5.5 hours, also depending on your pickup location. On both tours, you’ll enjoy about 2 hours under the night skies.
