Then, head to the colorful Born district, once a seaside resort for the medieval aristocracy. Visit Casa Calvet, designed by Gaudí and declared a Place of Cultural Interest in 1969.
Move on to the modern quarter of Grácia and immerse yourself in its unique Catalan Modernism style. See buildings of extraordinary designs, such as the Casa Batlló and La Pedrera. 

Weave your way through Vila de Grácia, Barcelona’s coolest suburb and its true administrative and commercial center. Admire the 33-meter tall bell tower, crowned with the famous bell of the “Marieta.”
