Keep your eyes peeled on the water, and look out for spouting, and splashing which are tell-tale signs of a nearby whale. As you search for whales, brush up on your whale-behavior knowledge and learn about breaching, lob-tailing, spy-hopping, fin-slapping, and diving. Once you’ve spotted one, get as close as possible to the whale, whilst still respecting the animal’s comfort zone and the laws for endangered species.
