The “Edge of the World” is a dramatic and striking natural landmark located in Saudi Arabia. It’s a series of cliffs located in the Tuwaiq Escarpment, which is part of the larger Arabian Peninsula’s geological formation.
The site gets its evocative name from the sheer, expansive cliffs that overlook a vast desert plateau, creating a dramatic view that feels like standing at the edge of the world. It’s a popular destination for those looking to experience Saudi Arabia’s stunning natural beauty and unique landscapes.
To get there, you’ll need to drive from Riyadh, the capital city, which is about a 90-minute drive away. The journey typically requires a 4×4 vehicle due to the rugged terrain. Once you arrive, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views and an unforgettable experience of Saudi Arabia’s natural wonders.
The trip starts at 2:30 pm. We will start with a light delicious hiking for one to one and half hour. Then, we will go back to enjoy a nice view of the sunset with some sacks and chats about Saudi culture and history. Finally, we will reach Riyadh by 8 pm.
The maximum size of the trip is 3 people. However, I can provide larger car or another car for larger groups. This issue can be discussed and arranged.
