Experience El Yunque like only a local could! This tour takes you to a remote area deep in the heart of the rainforest. Please note that this tour is off the beaten path and is Not to the slides which is the incredibly crowded area on the outskirts of the rainforest. This tour is to a remote area of the rainforest, which makes it all the better. No large crowds and once we start the actual adventure, little to no people whatsoever.
A true hidden Gem of the island. First, we start off on a creek of crystal clear fresh rain water. Here we will explore quite a few hidden pools and waterfalls of fresh spring water. Bathing is highly encouraged as the water is Perfect! After the creek we make our way up to one of the most gorgeous rivers in the entire island; Rio Espiritu Santo. This incredible area again takes us to numerous hidden waterfalls and pristine pools in which to swim in.
One waterfall has a place to sit under a creates a hydrotherapy massage chair. This hike is fascinating, beautiful and adventure packed. This is a tour that you simply could not do on your own as the guide’s knowledge of the rainforest is unmatched. Transportation is provided to and from San Juan.
