A musical prodigy, he began playing piano at the age of two and performed professionally by seven. As the grandson of James Sugar Boy Crawford, famed for the RIko Iko, Davell inherited a rich musical legacy. His style seamlessly blends gospel, jazz, blues, funk, and soul, drawing inspiration from artists like Fats Domino, Sarah Vaughan, and Patsy Cline. Crawford has graced stages worldwide, captivating audiences with his dynamic performances that honor New Orleans storied piano tradition.
