This free concert will feature sublime works by Hildegard von Bingen, Thomas Tallis, Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Orlande de Lassus, William Byrd, and Chicago native and CCC Director Kevin Allen—masters who have given voice to faith through the ages.
From the celestial visions of Hildegard to the serene harmonies of the Renaissance and the radiant creations of Kevin Allen, this concert reveals the unbroken song of the Church—devotion made music, beauty made prayer.
