Emily June is an independent singer/songwriter based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her vulnerable, visceral lyrics paint stories that are unique and honest, told against a sonic background of both raw instrumentation and eclectic production. She loves to explore themes of self-reflection, heartache, nostalgia, nature, and existence, aiming to bring fresh takes to these familiar topics. Her debut album “notes for when i lose myself,” released on February 28, 2025, is an introspective journey through the cyclical human experience of feeling lost, then briefly found. Of wanting change, then being scared of it. And most of all, of feeling a little stronger every time the cycle repeats.
