One night only! Nashville legend Jerry Salley at Debbie’s Music Theatre – Salt Lick, KY

Debbie’s Music Theatre is thrilled to announce a one-night-only performance featuring Jerry Salley, one of Nashville’s most prolific and celebrated songwriters, on Friday, November 15th at 5 PM in Salt Lick, Kentucky.

With a career spanning more than four decades, Jerry has had over 500 of his songs recorded by some of music’s biggest stars, including Chris Stapleton, Reba McEntire, Brad Paisley, Toby Keith, Loretta Lynn, Joe Diffie, and The Isaacs. His talent and impact on American music have earned him the title of SESAC Country Songwriter of the Year (2003), IBMA Songwriter of the Year (2018 & 2019), and a Dove Award for his inspirational classic “His Strength Is Perfect.” Beyond the songwriting credits, Jerry is a gifted performer whose live shows weave together heartfelt stories and timeless songs, offering a rare chance to hear these hits in his own voice.

Opening the evening is Brock Burton, a soulful young songwriter from Kentucky who has been drawing attention with his debut album Nowhere Town. His music, deeply rooted in the storytelling tradition of Appalachia, has been compared to the spirit of John Prine, making him the perfect complement to Jerry’s legendary catalog.

This will be an intimate night of music, storytelling, and Appalachian spirit inside a historic venue that has hosted icons like Marty Raybon, Dale Ann Bradley, IIIrd Tyme Out, and Ricky Skaggs.
