Join us for Paranda Party: Nirbhau Nirvair (Punjabi for “Without Fear, Without Hate”) — a vibrant celebration of culture, creativity, and community through the art of paranda braiding.

This event brings people together to honor the South Asian tradition of adorning hair with parandas—colorful, handcrafted braids that symbolize beauty, connection, and care.

Theme: Nirbhau Nirvair

This years theme invites us to look at the larger system of interconnectedness and oneness, to show up boldly and with love, embracing fearlessness, compassion, and the shared strength of our community.

As we braid, dance, and celebrate, we weave together more than just hair—we braid stories, joy, and resilience.

Event Highlights

VIP Experience:
VIP guests receive a special jingling handmade paranda to braid into their hair—adding a touch of sparkle, sound, and spirit to the night.

Enjoy live music, poetry, and performances and so much more!
