She has quickly become a standout voice in the citys creative music scene, known for her expressive touch and thoughtful compositions. Shiraishi has quickly established herself in New Orleans vibrant music scene, appearing with artists such as Kermit Ruffins, Shannon Powell and the Preservation Hall All‑Stars. She is joined by New Orleans bassist and composer Max Moran, a versatile and in-demand musician celebrated for his rich tone, strong groove, and forward-thinking musicality. Morans broad groove and genre-bending flair has been credited alongside Donald Harrison, Nicholas Payton and Herlin Riley. Shiraishi and Moran unite two distinctive artistic perspectives for a performance rooted in jazz tradition and contemporary improvisation.Doors: 4 pm Show: 4:30 – 6 pmSnug Harbor Jazz Bistro presents live weekly concerts.
