Formed in 1980, Acid Attack are one of Portsmouth’s original punk bands. Originally in existence until 1984 they’ve been back playing with all original members since 2016.
They’ve been releasing material both old and new … 1980s demos and brand new recordings.
Acid Attack live still pack a punch as this reviews from Ged Babey at ‘Louder Than War’ testifies:
“A juggernaut of tribal drumming, rumbling bass and wall of sound guitar …. somehow different to many of the 1982 era 3rd generation bands, down to the drumming and time changes …. their doom-laden protest and anger sound surprisingly fresh and vital all these years on”
