Don’t miss this upcoming event in Whitefish, MT. Happening on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 3905 Big Mountain Rd. Doors open at 5:00 PM.
New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade and Fireworks – December 31
Help us say goodbye to 2025 with a fiery Torchlight Parade and Fireworks to bring in the New Year. This event includes a torchlight parade (open to the public for spectators or participants) followed by fireworks under the big sky.
The Torchlight Parade and Fireworks will begin at 5:30pm, just outside of Ed and Mully’s Restaurant (3905 Big Mountain Road) in the Upper Village. The fireworks display will begin at the end of the Torchlight Parade.
Spectators are encouraged to assemble at the bottom of Ed’s Run, near Ed & Mully’s.
Night Skiing on Chair 2 will close during the Torchlight. Chairs 3 and 6 will remain open.
If you would like to participate in the Torchlight Parade, please follow these instructions:
To Register :
You must register here by 4:30pm on the day of the torchlight, be an intermediate or expert skier or snowboarder, and must be at least 8 years old. If you are under the age of 12, we ask that a parent/guardian sign up with them and accompany them.
To Participate :
-A lift ticket or season pass is required.
-Arrive at the bottom of Chair 2 no later than 5:00pm.
-Meet our amazing Ski and Ride School staff who lead the torchlight, load the chair, get your torches, and ski down Ed’s Run.
-Low-visibility goggles, helmet, and outerwear you don’t mind getting dirty on are highly recommended.
