A short + feature screening of Rap World & tribute short Rap World Day. Followed by a Q&A and beats from Pleasure Jams & Big Blue.
Film enthusiast Edward Frumkin hosts a screening of Conner O’Malley and Danny Scharar’s Rap World and Frumkin’s short-length diaristic tribute Rap World Day on the exact day that both low-res films take place. Think of it as the new Star Wars or Mean Girls day.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A featuring Frumkin, Rap World supporting actor Edy Modica, and Rap World Day co-stars William George-Louis and Jard Lerebours. It’ll be moderated by Ian Faria (Simple Town). DJ acts Big Blue and Pleasure Jams will take the stage once the Q&A wraps.
