UP Theater’s longest-running play development series returns with four new plays on four cold Sundays.

Sunday, January 4 at 3:00 PM

“GROUPTHINK” by Mathew Goldstein, directed by Em Walter

Kevin’s attempts to sink his PR firm’s campaign for some of the world’s most vile hate groups backfires when he and the rest of his team become media darlings. A boundary-pushing, pitch black satire that is dangerously close to passing as realism, given the times.

Sunday, January 11 at 3:00 PM:

“AL GORE RHYTHM” by Phil Darg, directed by Chloe Champken

A love triange between a man, a woman, and the AI that has been assigned to the man as a result of his anger-management issues. The play explores the way in which technology infuses our daily lives and how it can deliver everything we have ever wanted… except happiness.

**Sunday, January 18 at 3:00 PM

**”AGELESS” by Bridgette Dutta Portman, directed by Kathy MacGowan

At the beginning of the 22nd century, Marin is one of the few holdouts when an anti-aging drug makes 90 the new 30. Her increasingly marginalization impacts not only herself but also the people she loves. A fascinating examination of youth and death and how the more experienced among us lose their relevance as they age.

**CHANGE OF VENUE for January 18 reading ONLY:

**Castle Village Community Room, 110 Cabrini Blvd., New York, NY 10033

Sunday January 25 at 3:00 PM
