Sketch Writing 2 – Finding the Game in Sketch WritingMondays 7:30 pm -10 pm (for six Monday nights starting Jan. 12, 2026)Student showcase – Friday night – March 6th (TENTATIVE SHOW DATE) Learn how to identify the game of a sketch and how to write sketches using this technique. This class also covers sketch structure, editing, and rhythm. No prior sketch writing experience is required. If you have taken sketch level 1, we will expand upon what you have learned. However, Sketch Level 1 is NOT a prerequisite to take this class. Assignments and feedback are based on the individuals level of experience and training. You can take this course without taking the regular sketch-writing class.Just The Funny is Miamis leading, and most comprehensive, improv and sketch education resource. JTFs classes are professionally designed, fully structured, syllabus-driven courses taught by JTFs improv professionals, and all students receive a certificate of completion for each course! Just The Funnys Improv Acting Series classes and Sketch Writing class also include end of course student performances!7-week course teaches the skills to writing effective and funny sketches, from the commercial parody to full length scenes. Learn the tricks of the trade, from how to start a sketch, punch lines, and effective endings.
