You may have noticed that Capital Region Living, upstate NY’s favorite local mag for the last 23 years, had a glow-up in 2025. Now, we’re ready to celebrate like it’s 2026 (cuz it is) at an issue release party for our first-ever HEALTH & WELLNESS issue!
Join CRL, Best Fitness, and Frog Alley Brewing for an evening of good company, healing vibes, and the chance to check out the best of the best of the Capital Region’s health and wellness offerings.
What to Wear:
It wouldn’t be a workout party without a workout theme! Dress to impress in your best track suit, matching set, or athleisure look. Dress code: Sporty Chic.
On the schedule:
Warm Up: The Party Starts—6pm
Think DJ tunes by Presidential Entertainment, complimentary mocktails (and cash bar), and a one-of-a-kind photo op in Good Karma Studio‘s aerial lyra hoop. Photos will be published in the spring issue of CRL!
☝️ First Set: Top 10 Trainers—7pm
This isn’t just a party—it’s also an event to honor the Top 10 Trainers of the 518, who are featured in the Health & Wellness Issue. (Stay tuned to see the list.) The short program will be hosted by Benita Zahn, beloved local news anchor turned powerhouse health coach.
✌️Second Set: In Full Swing—7:30pm
Explore offerings from your favorite 518 health and wellness businesses, including amenities from Ballston Spa’s new Performance Sanctuary, and more local businesses. Food available for purchase from Lily P’s, located right on site.
♀️ Cool Down: Before You Go—8:30pm
