Isaiah Petrie is a rising jazz vibraphonist based in Kansas City, Missouri, recognized for his dynamic performances and original compositions. Flo/Dis is a group centered around the concept of resonance. With each composition, moment and interaction, the music builds a soundscape capturing emotions untold by words. Steeped in the traditions of Black American Music, the music will shift and roll into something new each and every time.

Free Jazz Thursday shows at The Ship are a good way to discover emerging local musical talent in a cozy, intimate setting. The shows are free to attend, but your donations are appreciated to help us offset costs and pay the performers.
