A graduate of the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music, she has performed with major opera companies including Central City Opera, Opera Colorado, Denver Lyric Opera, Denver Opera, and the San Francisco Opera.
Ms. Collier is a two-time winner of the San Francisco Opera Auditions and received second prize in the Metropolitan Opera Auditions. In addition to her performance career, she has dedicated decades to teaching in both private and public-school settings, with a lifelong commitment to working with children with special needs. She continues to teach and coach singers of all ages.
While opera has been central to her career, Ms. Collier’s greatest passion lies in Classical Sacred Music, which she has performed extensively on tour and in churches and synagogues throughout Colorado. Her artistry brings spiritual depth, clarity, and emotional power to sacred repertoire.
Moses Swedberg, Piano
Pianist and educator Moses Swedberg is recognized for his expressive artistry, technical brilliance, and deeply human approach to music-making. Originally from Plains, Montana, he began playing piano at an early age and made his public debut at thirteen, performing works by Debussy, Schubert, Chopin, and Poulenc.
Now based in Colorado Springs, Mr. Swedberg performs regularly as a soloist and collaborative pianist with leading musicians and ensembles throughout the region. His solo repertoire spans from Mozart to Messiaen, and his performances have been praised as “dazzling” and “transcendent.”
Mr. Swedberg serves as a contracted accompanist for Pikes Peak State College, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, and the Colorado Springs Youth Choir, and is a piano instructor at Colorado College. Equally at home in classical music, show tunes, and spirituals, he views music as a vital means of empathy, communication, and emotional connection.
