Nat Evans and Pressurewave live at Casselberry Arts Center at Casselberry Arts Center – Casselberry, FL

In the midst of the pandemic that began in 2020, Circuit Church released Say Those Words For Me by Evans; selections from this record will be performed live for the first time alongside new works by Evans centered around the Buchla Music Easel. Say Those Words For Me is a tribute to Evans’ late Buddhist teacher, and is a collage of field recordings, temple bells, tea kettles and eerie resonances. Pressurewave, also known as Circuit Church label manager Jared Silvia, will present new work from his forthcoming release Radio Water, which extends his experiments in blending field recordings with analog synthesizer textures to create compelling ambient compositions.

The program unfolds as a single, continuous piece — a series of movements by Silvia and Evans woven together. Though their connection began in earnest with Evans’ releases on Circuit Church, their mutual love of synthesizers and musical expression through electronic sound has forged their friendship. This evening of collaboration will present a unique blend of their individual but connected musical visions.
