Winter Féile Opening Night Pub Show with CaliCeltic at United Irish Cultural Center – San Francisco, CA

The Irish Center comes alive for our 3rd Annual January festival. Opening Friday evening with a pub show featuring CaliCeltic—a fun, upbeat band that plays Irish and Celtic tunes that are influenced by their California roots. They are a group of seasoned performers that can put on a show! Their set includes music from the Pogues, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys and others. A six-piece group, they have flute, piccolo, mandolin, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass and drums.

What do you get when you cross a coconut and a herring? Who knows! But CaliCeltic has mixed two sides of one big ol’ pond to produce fruit of a different musical kind that tastes both Irish and Californian. Mandolin and electric guitar jangle and crunch alongside rock ‘n roll drums, melodic piccolo and flute. Packing a punch for audiences of all sizes, CaliCeltic is here to entertain intimately on the small stage, or to come roaring across like a force of nature to thrill audiences from the festival stage!
