Inspired by The Book of Alchemy by Suleika Jaouad and Suleika’s Substack, Away and A Broad & Feminist Book Club are teaming up to bring people together for an afternoon of connection & writing.
The space will be open starting at 1PM for some cozy community reading vibes.
The General Guide for Journal Club:
– Introduce ourselves and share our relationship to journaling: lifelong scribbler, occasional morning-page practitioner, or total beginner.
– Read and Write: starting with a prompt such as Write 10 sentences or scenes from the past 24 hours.
– Share and discuss: as you feel comfortable to share memories, insights, resistance, surprises.
All you need to bring is a writing utensil and your journal! Outdoor food and beverage are allowed in this venue.
