Living Room Choir hosts Vocal Playground with Kid Beyond at Grace Lutheran Church – El Cerrito, CA
Don’t miss this upcoming event in El Cerrito, CA. Happening on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Grace Lutheran Church. Doors open at 4:00 PM.
Living Room Choir is excited to welcome Kid Beyond as our guest leader this January! Kid B is bringing his Vocal Playground workshop right to our side of the bay.
You’ll learn the secrets of vocal percussion and other instruments… then we’ll pour your new skills into a heart-opening song circle — with Kid B’s soulful songs, and new ones we’ll make up together.
All voices welcome! Side effects include: Vibrant aliveness, serendipitous magic, radical gratitude, universal love…
About Kid Beyond:
Kid Beyond is soul singer, songleader, soul guide, and Buddhist teacher of heartfulness and mindfulness. He offers music as medicine — a vibrant alchemy of heart, soul, play, connection, and healing.
He’s played Coachella, and opened for James Brown, Ray Charles, the Neville Brothers, Imogen Heap, Michael Franti, LL Cool J, and many more.
He has led circles and workshops in vocal exploration and embodiment for over 30 years, at venues worldwide. He leads SF’s Song Circle Magic, with his beloved Elise Divine.
A 2-time Jeopardy! champion, he’s the only person ever to beatbox with Alex Trebek.
