A Victorian Christmas Murder Mystery
Hosted by Nirvana Coffee & Games and Crit & Ale
Lord Reginald Cavendish, Earl of Scarborough, Master of Silvermist Manor, a grand but somewhat isolated cliff-top estate overlooking the North Sea in Scarborough, Northern Yorkshire, invites you, among his most esteemed guests, to a Christmas feast like no other on the evening of 17 January 1888.
Don your finest attire and prepare to indulge in festive frivolity… if the storm, and the company, allow it.
In attendance will be:
- Lord Reginald Cavendish himself, the enigmatic host
- Camille Dupont, the manor’s graceful and mysterious French maid
- Professor Victor Aubergine, brilliant founder of the School of History at Alderwick University
- Lieutenant General Bertram Butterfield, Yorkshire’s lion of Kandahar
- Mrs Sybil Snow, the diamond-frosted widow of Whitby’s shipping dynasty
- Dr Evelynn Iris, celebrated (and controversial) female surgeon
- Madame Grace Garnet, flame-haired star lately returned from the London stage
- Reverend Percival Pine, the silver-tongued vicar of St Mary’s
Some of Yorkshire’s most distinguished and decorated citizens… each carrying secrets they hope the blizzard will conceal.
What secrets and spectacles await with such a colorful guest list? Join us at Nirvana Coffee and Games and step inside the mystery for yourself.
