The Rondo Community Music Series presents The Solomon Sessions

Join us for an electrifying evening with The Solomon Sessions, a multicultural musical collective led by acclaimed trumpet player and educator, Solomon Parham.

Experience a unique blend of jazz and hip-hop as The Solomon Sessions perform their original compositions, inspired by the legendary producer J Dilla. This one-night-only event is a must-attend for all music lovers in the Twin Cities.

Solomon Parham, a native of Detroit, MI, has been a significant force in the Twin Cities’ jazz community. Having honed his craft under the tutelage of jazz greats like Herbie Williams and Marcus Belgrave, Solomon’s journey has led him to share the stage with icons such as Delfeayo Marsalis and Christian McBride. He is also a proud member of the Grammy-winning group Sounds of Blackness.

Through his work, Solomon is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of jazz musicians and enthusiasts. His latest project, The Solomon Sessions, showcases his innovative approach to music, bridging genres and creating a sound that is both fresh and deeply rooted in tradition.
