The Evolution of Consciousness is a performed concept album about a higher dimensional being who chooses to have a human experience in this emotional and uplifting one woman musical. Composed primarily of looped voices, the narrative weaves in and out of songs about the universe, spirituality and emotional healing.
Rya is a multidisciplinary artist, composer and performer originally from upstate New York, currently based in St. Petersburg. With a background in visual arts, theatre and fashion she draws from her own personal healing and spiritual exploration to create immersive work that invites the audience to connect with a deeper layer of themselves.
