Adapted from the original MasterWorks Productions ballet, this story follows two sisters. Aleisha and Demetria. who are each entrusted with a symbolic gift from their father before he leaves for war. Aleisha receives a golden scarf that reflects her innocence and purity, while Demetria is given a living plant that thrives or decays based on the state of her heart. As the sisters grow, jealousy, pride, and bitterness begin to take root, leading to a heartbreaking rift that only redemption can heal.
