Our Chicago Teachers House Party will be a joyous gathering for K-12 educators to experience connection, care, and collaborative learning.
Join the Teach Tank collective for a Chicago Teachers House Party: a celebration of our city, our communities, and our collective resistance. This will be a unique opportunity for educators to experience connection, care, and collaborative learning, all while making new friends and having fun!
During our house party, we’re excited to feature:
- live DJ and classic Chicago house music
- representatives from community organizations, nonprofits, and museums
- spoken word poetry
- free curricular resources that center Chicago writers, artists, and community organizers
- a collage workshop that can be used across grade levels and content areas
- somatic practices that ground us in healing and love for ourselves and one another
Bring a notebook, pen/pencil, and an open heart! We can’t wait to experience a joyful gathering with our community!
