Story Jams annual MLK Day celebration spotlights diverse voices with lively music and true personal stories. Showing particular appreciation for diverse voices, and with original songs, Story Jam shares the art of personal narrative storytelling in a spirit of energy and fun. This multi-media production will include humor and a strong sense of community. Proceeds will benefit organizations benefitting immigrant groups and Chicago families affected by recent events. ABOUT STORY JAM: Created by Chicago singer-songwriter Stephanie Rogers in 2014, Story Jam combines true personal stories with pre-written and improvised music for each story.
