Join us at Blue Door for The Sherry Influence: Fortified Wine Casks & Scotch, an industry-focused seminar exploring the powerful role sherry and fortified wine casks play in shaping Scotch whisky.
This in-depth class will guide guests through the world of sherry and fortified wines before connecting those traditions to Scotch maturation, with a featured focus on GlenDronach. Led by Steven Dragan (Lustau) and Austin Dain (Brown-Forman), the seminar blends technical education, guided tasting, and real-world application in a cocktail bar setting.
The experience begins with a low-ABV sherry welcome drink, followed by a featured GlenDronach cocktail during the Scotch discussion. Guests will also enjoy curated tasting samples and a charcuterie board provided by our brand partners.
Following the seminar, the bar will open for a sherry-forward happy hour featuring a limited cocktail menu inspired by the class.
