Fowler Out Loud: YOUTHphonics at The Fowler Museum at UCLA – Los Angeles, CA

YOUTHphonics A Cappella is UCLA’s student run, all-gender community service a capella group focused on music and mentorship. We work to make a reliable curriculum accessible to Los Angeles youth, raising awareness about the importance of music education programs in high schools. This program was founded in 2009 in an effort to provide music lessons and theory to high schools without access to the resources or funds to support music education programs. In addition to teaching a class at Fairfax High School every Friday, we volunteer our voices for community service concerts and events. Past performances and community service events include: PAC’s Annual Dance Marathon, Disneyland’s First A Cappella Showcase, Ronald Reagan Hospital Holiday Caroling, the Los Angeles A Capella Festival, UCLA Basketball and Football games, and many more. Today, we will be performing a combination of our 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 repertoire, and we hope you enjoy!
