Originally commissioned by Spark & Echo Arts in 2015, Light to Darkness is directly inspired by sacred texts centered on themes of light and darkness, guiding listeners through a musical journey shaped by uncertainty, hope, struggle, and resilience. Through richly crafted compositions and expressive improvisation, the music explores universal human experiences, inviting audiences of all backgrounds into a reflective and inspiring listening experience.
