A Word From Tyris
I’ve been away for the last six months, but the music never stopped playing in my head. I am absolutely thrilled to announce that I am officially returning to the stage on January 23rd, and I want you there to help me kick off this new chapter.
Growing up in Chicago, I was raised on stories of Jazz legends like Monk and Parker turning small rooms into musical history through pure, raw improvisation. Throughout my career—from the clubs of Chicago to stages in India and Singapore—I’ve carried that spirit with me, approaching the music differently every single night.
Now that I’m back, my goal is to recapture that “up close and personal” energy. I want to bring back the movement and the unfiltered emotion of spontaneous music.
The House That Rocks has hosted icons like Oz Noy, Jimmy Haslip, and Dennis Chambers. I’m honored to return to this stage and add some fresh magic to the mix.
