Join us for a heartwarming night where art and poetry meet purpose. Poetry & Paint is more than just an event, it’s an experience that invites you to slow down, express yourself, and reconnect with the joy of who God created you to be.

Hosted by Pursuit of Joy, this gathering embodies our mission to create safe, faith-filled spaces that inspire healing, empowerment, and community. Through creative expression, we aim to remind individuals, especially women and youth, that joy is not lost; it’s something we can always pursue through purpose and faith.

This event also supports the Her Counsel Mental Health Initiative, a movement committed to promoting mental health awareness within faith communities. Her Counsel focuses on empowering women to embrace emotional healing, find strength in sisterhood, and prioritize mental wellness while walking in purpose!

Featured Art: “Who I Am”

Throughout our lives, we’ve been called many things, but who does the Word of God say we are?
Through the “Who I Am” piece, we explore identity, self-worth, and divine purpose as we are reminded of our Creator’s original design:

“So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” – Genesis 1:27 (NIV)

This interactive art experience invites attendees to reflect, paint, and rediscover who they are in Christ.
