Come dance, move, and shake it out at SUMMIT PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH for an EXTENDED ECSTATIC DANCE event on January, 25th featuring DJ Electro-Cute & Nah Mean?

About the Event:

For this gathering we will be heading to the Mt.Airy/Germantown area to gather in a beautiful church space that was built in 1895! ⛪

We will be doubling the amount of dancing time from 2 to 4 hours and will be loading in a Funktion-One soundsystem! 🔊🔊

DJ Electro⚡Cute will be joining us as our guest DJ all the way from Virginia!

Joining her will be Love Portal resident Nah Mean? as each will share a 2 hour set ✨

Karsyn Wagner of Gaia Raga will kick off the night up with a song circle to open the energy of the event

And lastly Simcha Guttenplan will lead the closing ceremony after the dance to wrap up the night!

This is going to be a magical heart-centered evening full of dancing, singing, and playing in a beautiful, warm, bass filled church!

About the Venue:

Summit Presbyterian Church, nestled in the vibrant Mount Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia, is a welcoming and inclusive community space known for its commitment to social justice and spiritual growth. The church’s beautiful, historic architecture provides a warm and inspiring setting for gatherings of all kinds. For our event we will be gathering inside of Fellowship Hall which is the original church building that was built in 1895 and is a pillar to the surrounding community.

Guidelines:

An ecstatic dance is a safe space where you’re invited to move freely without judgement and express yourself to music while connecting with a likeminded community. We follow these guidelines:

⪼ No alcohol or substances

⪼ Limited phone use, no videos of people dancing

⪼ Be mindful, keep conversations off the dancefloor

⪼ Consent to dance with others

⪼ No shoes

*We will have a dedicated media person capturing the event, if you would like to not be photographed/filmed during the event you can notify us at check-in and we’ll happily accomodate.
