Super Bowl LX NFL Health Symposium
Overview:
This full-day program features NFL medical and performance leaders who provide a comprehensive overview of player health and safety in professional football, with a focus on concussion management, head and neck injuries, injury prevention, and NFL health and safety initiatives. Sessions address key aspects of injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and return-to-play, highlighting evidence-based training principles, emergency readiness, rehabilitation, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support athlete safety, recovery, and performance.
Objectives:
- Understand current NFL approaches to injury prevention, concussion management, and health and safety
- Apply evidence-based principles of evaluation, rehabilitation, reconditioning, and return-to-play for various football-related injuries.
- Recognize the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration among medical, performance, and training staff to optimize athlete health, safety, and performance in the NFL.
California Concussion Institute (BOC Approved Provider#: P10150) is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to provide continuing education to Athletic Trainers (ATs). This program is eligible for a maximum of 6 hours/ Category A CEUs. ATs should claim only those hours actually spent in the educational program
