How it all started…
The Megs hadn’t even heard each others’ music yet when they vowed to start a band and take over the world. It was late 2021, in an online facebook chat where it all unfolded. Megan Slankard (a Rock Boat festival hopeful) had just met Meaghan Farrell (a Rock Boat regular).
The Megs online friendship and musical bra-mance continued to bloom, but it wasn’t until the summer of 2022 where the two where brought together in person for the first time at the Mile of Music festival, in Appleton, WI. By this time both artists’ audiences had anticipated this moment as much as the singers themselves. And a musical super nova was born.
Not long after, Farrell and Slankard would meet up for their first songwriting session and the rest was history.
